Mayor’s Opening Address and Report:

Nothing

Old Business

Dam:  Will look to clean up the dam with a lot of the brush and some trees from the drain/overflow.  Chuck will help with this as well since he has the equipment as well. Guard Rail quotes: Jasper Construction (Steel Beam Guard rails) this would be about $20k. Gryp Construction is already booked quite far out.  Fencing is expensive vs the railing to put in and when damaged expensive to get someone in to fix it.  Will look at the bids at the next meeting so we can all see the bids and pictures when all together.  Possibly see if someone else can bid the project.

Roads: Roads seem to be quite rough in areas and feel like we should focus on that prior to summer and then focus on the rail on the dam in the fall.  Get bids for the road repair on Jasper Construction and Manatt’s to repair/patching the bad spots and consider putting in a curb up by Strawser’s house.  Council will go around and review the roads and spray the spots so that the construction crew can go around and give bids

Maintenance Person: Have decided to keep a maintenance person and then a separate person for mowing.  Need to post it on the boards to get someone in quickly as mowing needs to start soon.  Dawnette will go over and look at the mower to see what needs to happen in terms of maintenance.

New Business

ICAP/Insurance: Reviewed the document with the city council and will submit updated numbers this week to insurance regarding the maintenance building and items within it.

Newsletter: Concern over the dumpster on if they can bring it during the coronavirus, but will not know until closer to the date.  Will be dependent on current situation.  Once added, Griffith moves to approve to send out, Strawser seconds.  Ayes: all

Council Report:  Nothing at this time

Clerk Report:  Nothing at this time

Maintenance report: Will have Bill come out to do playground maintenance.

Adjournment:  Follette moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:02 p.m. Baker seconded. Ayes:  All.

These minutes are as recorded by the City Clerk and are subject to council approval at the next City Council meeting.
