Call Meeting to Order:
Mayor
Pro Tem Ted Schultz called the council meeting to
order at 7:00 p.m.
Roll Call: Ted Schultz, Lisa
Griffith and Don Smith. Absent: Heath Collett, Lennie Smith, and Terry Morrison.
Also present: Lori Smith, city clerk.
Inquiries from the Community: None.
Approval of Minutes: Smith moved to approve the minutes of the January
14, 2019, meeting. Schultz seconded.
Ayes: All.
Treasurer’s Report:

moved to approve the January report as submitted. Smith seconded. Ayes: All.

Address and Report: None.
Old Business
2019-20 Budget items: After reviewing the proposed budget presented
by the city clerk, Schultz made a motion to present this budget at a public
hearing before our regularly scheduled council meeting on Monday, March 11.
Seconded by Smith. Ayes: All.
ECIC meeting: March 7: No interest in
attending.
City laptop replacement: City clerk
purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 laptop, including Office 365, with yearly
software renewals for $516.96.
New Business
Easter Egg Hunt: The annual Easter egg hunt will be
held in the city park at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.
Spring Garage Sale and Dumpster Days: The annual city-wide
garage sales will be set for Saturday, May 4. Dumpsters will be set up from May
3 – May 13. Watch for more details in
the upcoming spring newsletter.
Council
Report: None.
Clerk Report: We
were approved for the $1,000 ICAP safety grant to order more speed bumps. The city
clerk will bring the final tally for ordering two more portable speed bumps to
the next meeting.
Maintenance report: None.
Adjournment: Schultz moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:14
p.m. Griffith seconded. Ayes: All.
