Notification Sites: It was decided to stay at three places for city notifications:  at the maintenance building, entrance to Oakland Acres West, and Oak Lake.

Insurance:  Lennie will meet with IMWCA on Wednesday, June 11.

Easements:  Arthur and Schultz will continue researching the easements with the golf course.

Road Repairs:  Lennie met with Cessford and signed a contract to replace and widen the end of Fore Seasons Drive.  The road work could begin as early as June 23, and will take 2-3 days to complete. Residents may be asked to move back mailboxes and have the option of having Cessford repair their driveway at their own cost at that time.

Lennie will contact the post office about mail delivery during those days and Halblom will talk to Larry Heishman about using golf carts to get residents to their homes.

New Business

Fourth of July: It was decided that the city would not hold any holiday events on the 4th.

Speed Zone:  Council discussed the need for a slower speed zone on Highway 6 when driving by Oakland Acres.  Schultz will contact Stuart Anderson with the DOT about implementing that.

Council Report:  None.

Clerk Report:  None.

Maintenance Report:  Lennie has been working on the railroad ties near 36 Shoreline Drive.  He has also filled in some roadways and sinkholes with gravel, with plans to put gravel along all of the roads.  With the rain, mowing has also taken a lot of hours.

Adjournment:  Schultz moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 p.m.  Arthur seconded.  Ayes:  All.
