Call Meeting to Order: Mayor Lennie Smith called the council
meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Roll Call: Terry Morrison, Ted
Schultz. and Carol Cerqua. Absent: Don Smith and Doug Weaver
Also present: Lori Smith, city clerk.
Inquiries from the Community: Pontoon found by
overflow on golf course pond. Mayor
Smith will contact the golf course, as that is not a city pond. Also had a suggestion to change ordinances to
limit home types allowed in the city limits.
Council will review the ordinances.
Clerk will send link to current code.
Approval of Minutes:
Schultz moved to approve the minutes of the February
8, 2016, meeting. Cerqua seconded. Ayes:
All.
Treasurer’s Report:
Morrison
moved to approve the February report as submitted. Schultz seconded. Ayes: All.

CLOSE COUNCIL MEETING - OPEN BUDGET HEARING
Schultz made a motion to close
our regular meeting and start Budget Hearing.
Morrison seconded. Ayes: All
FY17 Budget: No community
members were present. The council
reviewed the budget estimate and had no questions. Cerqua
moved to accept the budget as presented.

CLOSE BUDGET HEARING - OPEN COUNCIL MEETING
Ordinances and issues: Ongoing legal process.
Council Member
responsibilities: Mayor reviewed the different options for
council tasks, giving members a synopsis of duties.
Easter Egg Hunt:
Will
be held on Saturday, March 19, in the park at 2 p.m. See newsletter for details.
Spring Clean-p
and Garage Sale Days: Dates will be announced in newsletter, which
will be mailed this week. Will have
dumpsters from May 6-20, with the City-Wide Garage Sale on Saturday, May
14.
Cessford - Road Repair:
Our
contact at Cessford is no longer employed with the
company. Will follow up with the company
to see who our new contact will be.
Trees: Need to cut trees along Oakridge Drive
and by golf course. Mayor will follow
up.
New Business
Tornado
Siren Testing: Siren will be
tested on March 16, at 10 a.m. If you
hear it go off, please notify the clerk.

Clerk Report: None.
Maintenance Report:
Will
be servicing tractor, cleaning up park, etc., to get ready for mowing season.
Would love to have any volunteers to help clean up sticks, leaves, etc. in the
park.
Adjournment: Schultz moved to adjourn the meeting
at 7:30 p.m. Cerqua
seconded. Ayes: All.
